California City Desert Scorpions is a non-profit sports based program located in rural California City, California. It was inspired by a father and his sons who saw too many children left behind in becoming part of a sports team because they were unable to afford all that was involved in being part of that team; the sign up fees, uniforms, rides to and from practice and games. So the dream of making a difference in these children’s lives has become a reality with the California City Scorpions program.
